This is the third post regarding the Arabic pronunciation of the Letters with the Short Vowels. We have seen how all the letters sound when associated with both Fatḥah – (فَتْحَة) and Ḍammah – (ضَمَّة).

Now it’s time to learn the Arabic pronunciation of the Letters with the third Short Arabic Vowel Kasrah – (كَسْرَة).

Arabic Vowel Kasrah is a diagonal line below a letter and designates a short /i/ (as in “Bit”).
